Our Exhibition Stand Designs
Insideout Events, founded in 2003, originally operated as an agency coordinating with clients on their exhibition needs, utilising a separate exhibition stand build company for the physical construction of stands. In 2014, following the retirement of the original owner, Insideout Events merged with its stand-building partner to consolidate all services, continuing its commitment to its established client base under one unified operation.
For the last 10 years, Insideout Events has been able to operate on a 360-degree basis; from the initial contact with customers to the final stand build and everything else in between.
We are a small and very close-knit team with half of us being family members and the other half, being long-term employees and friends who have become as good as family. We believe that our respectful and caring family values are replicated in the service that we offer to our customers and are often praised by clients for the honest advice and genuine passion and concern for every single exhibition stand we build as if we are building to represent our own business.

Gemma
Managing Director
Growing up around the events and exhibition industry, Gemma joined the family business in 2016 to lead sales, marketing and overall growth, bringing with her the commercial know-how she gained from running her own recruitment agency. Now the driving force behind Insideout Events, she’s known for guiding clients through exhibitions, especially first-time exhibitors, making the process smooth, creative and stress-free, with a particular passion for international projects and what’s next on the show calendar. Outside of work, she channels that same creativity into decorating and styling her home.
Bret
HEad of Design
Bret has over 30 years experience in the events and exhibitions industry and joined the business in 2008. Bret works remotely from Manchester and has always been our lead exhibition stand designer who will always liaise with clients in Gemma’s absence.
Bret is essential to our business operations and we could not live without him!
Sind
Head Carpenter & Workshop Manager
As Workshop Manager and Head Carpenter, Sind ensures every project is delivered to the highest standard. He thrives on seeing a job from the planning stage through to completion and takes pride in bringing ideas to life. With ambitions to expand our work into new countries, Sind is always looking ahead to new challenges. Outside of work, he’s recently discovered a love for golf, a hobby that keeps him just as focused as his carpentry.
Cieran
Stand Builder
Cieran brings energy and adaptability to his role as a stand builder. He thrives on the variety of work, with each project offering something new and different. Known for his dedication on-site, he’s an integral part of delivering top-quality builds. Outside of work, Cieran prefers a quieter life, balancing his busy role with time to recharge.
Lee
Stand builder
Lee has a real passion for stand building, with a particular love for flooring, a detail he takes great pride in perfecting. He enjoys being part of a team that delivers outstanding results and is always ready for the next challenge. Keen to see more of the world through his work, Lee hopes to take his skills to international projects. Outside the workshop, his friends know him best for his “heavy feet,” a nickname that’s stuck over the years.
Davey
Carpenter and Stand Builder
Davey is a skilled carpenter who enjoys the hands-on side of exhibition stand building. He loves being on-site, seeing projects come together, and learning something new with every build. Eager to work on more international projects, Davey’s excited by the chance to combine his craft with travel. Fun fact; he has a plate in his hip, which makes him a familiar face at airport security.
Sunny
Trainee Stand Builder
As a trainee, Sunny is developing his skills both in the workshop and on-site. He enjoys learning the details of laminating and stand construction and is growing more confident with every project. Enthusiastic and motivated, Sunny is on his way to becoming a skilled stand builder. Away from work, he spends much of his time fixing and modifying cars, a passion that mirrors his hands-on approach at Insideout.
